The CIRA2009 will be held at DCC (Daejeon Convention Center) where is the optimal venue to support all kinds of meetings and convention activities. Daejeon is geographically located in the heart of the nation and functions as the nation's transportation hub. Other major cities are accessible within 2 hours. Seoul and Busan are only 50 minutes and 110 minutes away respectively by Korea Train Express (KTX).

 

By Airplane
DCC is served by the two international airports, Incheon International and Cheongju International Airports. The Incheon International Airport is less than two & a half hours drive by direct motorway link to the Daejeon Government Complex. From the airport, a limousine bus operates a daily service at an interval of 20~30 minutes to the Complex. The service starts at 6 a.m. and ends at 11:10 p.m. to the Complex.
You can also use a limo to get to the Seoul Station where trains operate a daily service to the Daejeon Station. The Cheongju International Airport is less than 50 minutes drive to the Dongbu Intercity Bus Terminal. From the airport, a limo operates a daily service six times a day. It starts at 10:50 a.m. and ends at 9:20 p.m.

By Rail
At the Seoul Station, you can use KTX (Korea Train Express) and other trains to get to the Daejeon Station. Journey time to the Daejeon Station is approximately 50 minutes from the Seoul Station by KTX. And it takes about two hours to reach the Daejeon Station by other trains.

By Taxi
You can take a taxi to arrive in the Conference venue, DCC, at the Daejeon Government Complex, Daejeon Station, and Dongbu Intercity Bus Terminal. Call taxi companies operate a daily service in Daejeon as well. You can give a call to Hanbit Call (540-8282) and Yangban Call (586-8000). They accept both cash and cards.
